Newbrighton
Newbrighton is a band from Seattle, Washington with post-hardcore and indie influences. Since 2015 Newbrighton has written music that doesn’t neatly check any boxes. Each song is approached uniquely and creatively leaving wide open spaces to incorporate sounds from a wide spectrum of music tastes. In its earliest form the resulting sound was indie rock interlaced with math rock breakdowns and post rock ambience. In their most recent release “For Those Who Have Ears, Let Them Cover Their Ears”, Newbrighton takes a soft approach to an post-hardcore sound, approaching the intensity inherent in the genre with patience and temperance. After years of writing and touring, there are no plans for new music in the near future, but who knows?! Anything could happen….
