Our first podcast episode! Featuring a phone chat with Cody Schuman (aka Mount Sigh) about my favorite song on his newish EP Glitter Planet. He breaks down how he wrote “Hypnic Jerk,” why he had to keep a few recording no-nos, what the heck the title means, and how it all relates to the song’s deeply personal lyrics. I took inspiration from the Radiotopia podcast Song Exploder and edited our conversation down and spliced it with the individual instruments for a truly immersive listening experience.
